Sacred India Itinerary 2027

  • Arrive New Delhi International Airport. You will be met at the airport on arrival and transferred to your hotel in Delhi (40 mins). Stay at your hotel in Delhi for 01 night.

  • Morning yoga practice and after breakfast proceed to Devprayag. Devprayag is one of the most spiritually important towns in the Indian Himalayas. It is located in the state of Uttarakhand, you can clearly see the green Alaknanda and darker Bhagirathi rivers merging together here. It is a very small town situated on the Sangam on two holy rivers and very peaceful and deeply spiritually place to start our Himalayan sacred journey. Overnight stay at hotel in Devprayag. 

  • Morning enjoy Yoga Meditation at the hotel terrace overlooking mother Ganga. After breakfast proceed to explore this beautiful town. Visit the famous Raghunath temple, where lord Rama visited and did his meditation. You can pray to Mother Ganga and can do Ganga bath here. Devprayag is a sacred Himalayan town where two rivers—Bhagirathi River and Alaknanda River—meet to officially form the holy Ganges River.This confluence (called Sangam) is one of the Panch Prayag (five sacred river junctions) in Uttarakhand. Very powerful spiritual significance, stunning two colour river confluence. Overnight stay at hotel.

  • Morning after breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed to Rishikesh,  Rishikesh is a small town, lies in the foothills of Himalayas, scenically located where the Holy Ganges River comes down from the Himalayas. Rishikesh catapulted to Western fame when the Beatles dropped by for a visit to Maharishi Mahesh Yogi's Ashram. Also Rishikesh is known as Worlds Yoga capital. Rishikesh is associated with Lord Rama and Laxman.

    There are many temples to visit in Rishikesh and someone can visit as many as they want.  Later in afternoon enjoy a nice walk by the Holy Ganga river. Overnight stay at hotel.

  • Morning practice Yoga and later on visit Neergadu waterfall. Himalayan foothill trek to waterfall  (trek is approximately 3 hours roundtrip). Someone need to walk through the jungle on  narrow trails to reach this waterfall, water flowing from the natural rocky cliffs tempts us to take a cool dip in this stream. Butterflies of different species are seen fluttering around the wild flowers. Overnight stay at hotel in Rishikesh.

    In evening visit Parmarth Niketan Ashram which is famous for Ganga prayer ceremony which takes place daily in morning and evening. This Ashram also run a school based on traditional and cultural Indian pattern. This Ashram is open for all, with no discrimination on the basis of race, gender, nationality, religion, caste or creed.

  • Get up at 4.30am to drive up the mountain for morning yoga (Or just enjoy the sunrise from this special place) and sunrise over the Himalaya then big walk down to the waterfall. After the hike return back to hotel for breakfast. Have some time off for own activities. Later in afternoon proceed to Beatles Ashram – one the Maharishi Mahesh Yogi’s ashram which became popular in west specially during the Beatles visit in 60s. 

    In evening visit Parmarth Niketan Ashram which is famous for Ganga prayer ceremony which takes place daily in morning and evening. Overnight stay at hotel.

  • Morning & Evening Yoga practice and after breakfast proceed to Vashistha cave  - the ancient Cave Ashram of Vashistha where his descendants and followers reside at the river ashram and have darshan of Vashistha’s Shiva deity. Here you can have beautiful experience of Sacred bath in Ganges with Mantra chanting.

    Vashistha cave is an ancient cave where great sage Vashistha meditated for a long time. As per Hindu mythology, sage Vashistha was son of Lord Brahma and one of the seven great sages. There is a small cave here, where people can meditate and can feel the vibrant energy of this place.  

  • Morning Yoga and breakfast at hotel. Late in afternoon proceed to Haridwar &  enjoy a walking tour of Haridwar – Hari dwar stands for “Gateway of God” . Visit Har-ki-Pauri, one of the most famous place in Haridwar, is believed to be the exit point of river Ganges from the mountains and entry into the plains. You should enjoy evening Aarti (prayer) ceremony at river Ganges. Haridwar is the place where the Great Kumbh festival take place and about millions of people come to visit the town during that festibval. Kumbha Mela is considered the largest gathering of humans on the earth planet. Overnight stay at hotel in Rishikesh.

  • Morning enjoy yoga or have leisure time. Late in morning proceed to Rishikesh airport to catch flight to Varanasi. Varanasi picturesquely situated on the banks of river Ganga. The city is the oldest living city of the world. Other than being a very holy city for Hindus, it also holds a very significant association with Buddha’s life and Buddhism. Overnight stay at palace hotel in Varanasi. Overnight stay at hotel in Varanasi.

  • Morning Yoga, after breakfast time off for own activities. 

    In afternoon you can have an excursion to Sarnath, the site of the deer park where Gautama Buddha is said to have given his first sermon about the basic principles of Buddhism. It has been a premier centre for Buddhism & has a rich collection of ancient Buddhist relics & antiques comprising numerous Buddha & Bodhisattva images on display at the Archaeological Museum.  In evening enjoy the famous Aarti (prayer) ceremony at the bank of river Ganges. Overnight stay at hotel.

  • After breakfast we will proceed for a full day Prayagraj excursion. Prayagraj is one of India’s holiest and most historic cities, famous for the sacred Triveni Sangam where the Ganges, Yamuna River, and the mystical Saraswati River are believed to meet. Revered for centuries as a center of spirituality, learning, and pilgrimage, Prayagraj attracts millions of devotees, especially during the grand Kumbh Mela, the world’s largest religious gathering. The city blends deep religious significance with colonial-era architecture, ancient temples, bustling ghats, and a vibrant cultural atmosphere. Whether witnessing sunrise prayers at the Sangam, exploring sacred sites, or experiencing the energy of its spiritual traditions, Prayagraj offers a powerful glimpse into the soul of India.

  • Today we start our day with a boat ride on the river Ganges. Rise before dawn & step gingerly in the boat as the boatman starts rowing the boat. Witness the daily miracle to unfold, as the Sun appears triumphantly over the horizon. The sound of conches & temple bells add to the delicate pink fabric of dawn. The formerly hushed murmuring of ancient Sanskrit Shlokas (hymns) now rise, in one voice, to a crescendo of unparalleled piety & joy. Later we explore the city by foot to get the feel of this Oldest living city of the world. Return back to hotel for breakfast. In evening enjoy prayer ceremony at Famous Dashamash Ghat.

  • Morning enjoy yoga and meditation at hotel and after breakfast proceed to Varanasi airport to catch flight to Delhi. Upon arrival you will be transferred to international airport to catch flight to your further destination.
